This past year presented so many different challenges and obstacles that tested our strength and resiliency. The global pandemic forced us to cope with situations we never even imagined and a lot of us struggled with our mental health as a result. The good news is that there are tools and resources available that can support the well-being of individuals and communities on the Mental Health Month 2021 Toolkit by Mental Health America. The toolkit focuses on 6 key topics for strategies below that are accompanied with a worksheet (included in the toolkit) to put it into action:
- Adapting After Trauma and Stress
- Processing Big Changes
- Getting Out of Thinking Traps
- Radical Acceptance
- Taking Time for Yourself
- Dealing with Anger and Frustration
Together, these tools help us develop and employ the resiliency that will take us to brighter days.
