Melinda Newkirk

Affectionately known as Miss Melinda, I discovered GSDA while homeschooling my daughter in her sophomore year of high school. Impressed by the school's dedication to enriching education, I joined the GSDA team in 2005. In my current role, I delight in supporting the

school, teachers and families with the daily operations that foster growth and learning.

With my background in homeschooling my two children from Kinder through high school graduation, I am passionate about an enriching educational experience. I love assisting our families with opportunities that enhance their personal learning journey.     

Outside of work, my greatest joy is spending time with my family and beloved dog, Kobe and

learning new things.
