Breanna Burnworth

Hi! My name is Breanna Burnworth, and I am so excited to begin my second year at GSDA! I have worked in education for eight years and was a classroom teacher for seven of those years. I have taught all primary grade levels, but I have the most experience teaching first grade. I am a San Diego native and have lived in Jamul since 2001. I am a proud alumni of San Diego State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Television, Film, and New Media with an emphasis in Production. What I love most about GSDA is the safe, welcoming, and caring environment it creates for every student and family. Knowing that each child is supported, encouraged, and valued makes my work incredibly meaningful. It truly warms my heart to be part of a community that embraces individualized learning, and I feel honored to support our amazing families as we help every student grow, succeed, and reach their full potential. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling to new places, and relaxing at the beach!
