I have been a part of the GSDA family since 2008. Prior to working with homeschoolers, I taught in traditional public school settings (2nd and 3rd grades) as well as in a non-public school for children with learning disabilities (6th-12th). I also have experience working with children with autism. I received my bachelor’s degree in diversified liberal arts from the University of San Diego and my Master’s degree in Education from Chapman University with a reading certificate.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, writing, traveling, spending time in nature, and going out to eat. I also love to create resources and blog about teaching. I enjoy spending time with my husband, teenage stepson, and oversized dog.
